War Memorial & War History

Museum Annex

To read a complete explanation of the Memorial Wall in Second Life please read the following: All Soldiers & Victims Of Any War & Any Country Honored at TLE Military History Museum & Memorial

TLE Educational Network Memorial Wall is part of the TLE Interactive World History Museum Complex. It was conceived in a meeting where TLE staff were dealing with the needed research for our War History Building. We already have as part of the TLE Interactive World History Museum a Military Strategy & Vehicle parcel, however, War History and its effect upon mankind and history is a long process of research and presentation. Thus two parcels. One on Military Vehicles & Strategy and one for War History & our Memorial Wall.

It became clear that many expressed the fact they personally knew someone who either served their country, was killed or maimed in warfare or killed during a terrorist attack or act of war. And it also became clear that the wars mentioned covered a span of over a century and were all over the world.

We then decided a way to memorialize these people should be incorporated within the War History Complex of the TLE Interactive World History Museum. This is how the War Memorial Wall was born.

TLE runs under the motto of “Where Knowledge & Education Are Always Free”. We run our entire operation on 7 sims, including tiers, salaries and builds on the kind donations of people who come to visit.

Therefore we decided that each brick in the wall would cost 180 Lindens in Second Life and $18 if bought on the Internet (through PayPal). The building of the new War History Complex will be formed from these bricks, piece by piece and memorials are also placed here on the following pages as well. We will not be using any bought structures or those we can build by ourselves. All proceeds will go to TLE Educational Network and keeping it a free, fun and educational place to be in Second Life.
